BNP leader Rafiqul Islam presents a wheelchair to a disabled teenager in Paikgachha.

On Friday afternoon, BNP leader SM Rafiqul Islam Rafiq, who is the former vice-president of the central executive council of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, provided a wheelchair to a 14-year-old disabled teenager named Yasin.

Yasin is the son of the late Aslam Mali from Noakati village in Paikgachha. The wheelchair was donated by Haridaskati Adarsh Library and Adarsh Foundation.

The event was attended by several notable figures, including Humayun Kabir, the former vice-president of Khulna district Chhatra Dal and a former student leader of Dhaka College Chhatra Dal; Alhaj Master Hasanuzzaman, president of Adarsh Library; Saidul Islam, general secretary; Sheikh Momin Uddin, president of Adarsh Foundation; Almun Hussain, general secretary; and others such as Shafiqul Islam, Zahidul Islam, Sheikh Idris, Habibur Rahman, Aslam Biswas, Abdul Mannan Mali, and Mizanur Rahman. During the event, a set of guidebooks was also presented to Riya, a financially disadvantaged student in class 9 at Haridaskati Begum Jalal Secondary Girls' School.
