National Revolution and Solidarity Day was commemorated in Gaibandha.

A discussion meeting took place in Gaibandha at 11 am on Friday to mark the historic National Revolution and Solidarity Day on November 7.

This event, organized by the district BNP, was held at the party office located on Circular Road in the city, with BNP nominee for the Gaibandha Sadar constituency, Md. Anisuzzaman Khan Babu, serving as the chief guest. Other speakers included District BNP General Secretary Mahamudu Nabi Titul, Sadar Upazila BNP President Mosharraf Hossain Babu, City BNP General Secretary Mostaq Ahmed Mostaq, along with various leaders from BNP and its allied organizations.

Earlier in the day, a ceremony was conducted at the district BNP office at 6:30 pm to raise the national and party flags and to lay wreaths at the portrait of the martyred President Ziaur Rahman. Additionally, a free medical camp was organized by the Doctors Association of Bangladesh at a location known as Mather Hat in the district to celebrate the occasion.

Under the supervision of District BNP President Professor Dr. Mainul Hasan Sadiq, the free medical camp provided essential medical services to poor and needy patients who attended.
