


A colorful rally and discussion meeting was held in Lakshmipur on the occasion of the 54th Cooperative Day with the theme of Equality and Equality, Cooperatives will build the country.
On Saturday (November 1) morning, the rally, initiated by the District Cooperative Department, started from the premises of the District Collector's Building and after an important road parade, the discussion meeting was held in the Deputy Commissioner's conference room.
The meeting was presided over by District Cooperative Officer Mohammad Ashraf Uddin Rumi, while Additional Deputy Commissioner Sarbika Samrat Khisa, Officer-in-Charge of the District Police Intelligence Branch Shahadat Hossain Titu, Upazila Cooperative Officer Mizanur Rahman, Inspector Omar Faruk, Professor Nizam Uddin, Tarek Monowar, Adv. Mahamudul Haque Sujan and others spoke at the meeting.
Before the discussion meeting, the guests hoisted the national/cooperative flag amidst the national anthem. The speakers at the discussion meeting said that cooperative activities were introduced in the country for rural economic development. Cooperative means working together. Through this, the rural economic wheel of the country has been enriched. Cooperative societies will play an important role in the economic prosperity of the country in the future as well. At this time, leaders of various societies registered with the cooperative, officials and employees of various government and private departments were present.
