Bashkhali celebrates 47th founding anniversary of Jubo Dal

On the occasion of the 47th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Jubo Dal, the 47th founding anniversary of the Jubo Dal was celebrated in Bashkhali, Chittagong through various arrangements.

On Wednesday (October 29) evening, a colorful rally and gathering was held under the banner of Bashkhali Upazila-Municipality Jubo Dal. It went around the main road through Shilkup Time Bazaar in the upazila and ended with a short gathering at Chambal Bazaar.

At this time, the rally and gathering was presided over by Bashkhali Upazila Jubo Dal convener Abu Ahmed, the chief guest was Jahirul Islam Chowdhury Alamgir, a member of the convening committee of Chittagong South District BNP, and the main speaker was Ibrahim Khalil, former general secretary of Upazila BNP.

Upazila Jubo Dal leader Md. Abdul Alim moderated the meeting, and other members of the South District BNP Convening Committee, Delwar Azim, former senior member of the Upazila BNP, Nurul Azim, former general secretary of the Upazila Chhatra Dal, Moinul Haque Chowdhury Palash, former convener of the Kalipur Union BNP, Shoaibul Islam Kayes, former convener of the Khankhanabad BNP, Gias Kamal Chowdhury, senior joint convener of the Municipality Jubo Dal, Mohammad Shahidullah, were also present.

At that time, in the president's speech, Upazila Jubo Dal convener Abu Ahmed said, "Since the establishment of the Jubo Dal, it has been playing a leading role in restoring democracy in the country and establishing the rights of the people. The leaders and activists of the Jubo Dal have played a leading role from the front in the anti-dictatorship movement. The leaders and activists of the Bashkhali Jubo Dal will work unitedly to snatch victory for the sheaves of rice in the next national parliament elections."

In his speech as the chief guest, BNP leader Zahirul Islam Chowdhury Alamgir said, 'I expect the leaders and activists of Bashkhali Jubo Dal to work unitedly under the instructions of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. Therefore, the leaders and activists of Bashkhali Jubo Dal will have to work more unitedly to ensure the victory of the paddy sheaf in the next national election. Unity cannot be destroyed under any circumstances. The paddy sheaf in Banshkhali must be made victorious and presented to the future statesman Tarique Rahman.'

After the rally and short gathering, a prayer and milad mahfil were organized. Where the welfare of the nation, the forgiveness of the soul of martyred President Ziaur Rahman and the recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia were prayed for.
