Ziaur Rahman’s Patriotism Will Remain Indelible in History: Dr. Farhad

The 45th martyrdom anniversary of BNP founder and former President Ziaur Rahman was observed with due respect in Naldi, Lohagara upazila of Narail.

To mark the occasion, local BNP leaders organized a discussion and prayer session in front of the Naldi Union Parishad office at 4:00 pm on Friday (June 5).

Chaired by Naldi Union BNP President Md. Zillur Rahman and moderated by Hobkhali Union BNP’s former convener Reazul Islam Tinku, the event featured Supreme Court lawyer Dr. AZM Fariduzzaman Farhad as the chief guest.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Farhad urged party leaders and activists to unite. "Inspired by the patriotism and ideals of Ziaur Rahman, we must dedicate ourselves to building the country under the leadership of Tarique Rahman, standing firm against tyranny and misrule," he said.

Other notable speakers included former District BNP Vice-President Asaduzzaman, District BNP Organizing Secretary Mahbub Morshed Japal, District Jubo Dal President Md. Moshiar Rahman, and District Krishak Dal Convener Md. Nabir Hossain. Lohagara Upazila BNP Acting President Md. Hemayet Hossain and several municipal BNP leaders were also in attendance.

The program concluded with special prayers seeking eternal peace for Ziaur Rahman's soul, alongside prayers for the welfare and prosperity of the nation.
