


The Sunamganj Municipal branch of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami organized an Iftar Mahfil and discussion meeting at a local restaurant on Saturday, marking the 10th of Ramadan.
The event, chaired by Municipal Ameer Abdus Sattar Md. Mamun and moderated by Secretary Maulana Mizanur Rahman, saw participation from a wide spectrum of political and social leaders.
Maulana Tofail Ahmed Khan, Central Majlis-e-Shura member and District Vice-President, attended as the chief guest. The keynote address was delivered by Maulana Mahmudur Rahman Delwar, Assistant General Secretary of Majlis-e-Mofassirin.
Special guests included District Jamaat Nayebe Ameer Advocate Muhammad Shams Uddin, Municipal BNP Convener Saifullah Hasan Juned, and Alhera Jamia Islamia Principal Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.
Speakers emphasized that Ramadan is a month for self-purification and piety. They urged attendees to implement the teachings of the Quran to establish justice and fairness in society. The program concluded with a special prayer for the welfare of the nation and the Muslim Ummah.
