Professor Md. Zahurul Haque has been appointed as the new Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU).
The information was confirmed through an official notification issued by the university’s Registrar’s Office. According to the order, signed by Acting Registrar Professor Dr. Md. Habibur Rahman with the approval of the Vice-Chancellor, the current Dean, Professor Dr. Md. Delwar Hossain, has been relieved of his duties, and Professor Md. Zahurul Haque—being the next senior-most faculty member in accordance with university regulations—has been appointed to the position.
As per the office order, Professor Md. Zahurul Haque will assume office as Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for a two-year term, effective from January 7, 2026.
The notification further states that during his tenure, he will be entitled to financial and other benefits in accordance with university rules. It also notes that the university authorities reserve the right to amend or modify the order at any time if deemed necessary.
