Jamaat Holds Human Chain in Lakshmipur

Jamaat-e-Islami organized a human chain in Lakshmipur demanding the inclusion of the Proportional Representation (PR) system in the July National Charter along with a public referendum and a total of five demands.

The program, which lasted for an hour, was held this morning (Wednesday, October 15) in front of the District Commissioner's office.

Organized under the banner of the District Jamaat, the human chain saw the participation of leaders and activists from various units.

Speakers at the human chain included District Jamaat Naeb-e-Amir Advocate Nazir Ahmed, Secretary A.R. Hafiz Ullah, former Secretary Faruk Hossain Nurunnabi, Assistant Secretary Maulana Nasir Uddin Mahmud, Advocate Mohsin Kabir Murad, District Working Committee Member Sardar Syed Ahmed, Lakshmipur-1 parliamentary candidate Najmul Hasan Patwari, and City Jamaat Amir Advocate Abul Farah Nishan, among others.
