Bangladesh suffered a 3-0 T20I series whitewash against the West Indies in Chattogram.
Following the final match defeat, Bangladesh skipper Litton Das blamed heavy dew for the loss, claiming the pitch was dry and gripping during their innings but favored the West Indies' chase. Bangladesh, after being well-set at 107-2 with Tanzid Hasan Tamim scoring 89, collapsed to 151 all out.
In contrast, stand-in West Indies captain and Player of the Match Roston Chase disagreed that dew was the major factor, despite acknowledging its presence. Chase argued that the real difference lay in the quality of partnerships.
While Bangladesh failed to build sustained momentum, Chase and Ackeem Auguste forged a blistering 91-run stand off just 46 balls, securing the comprehensive victory and avenging their earlier 3-0 home loss to Bangladesh.
Chase emphasized the need for batters to consolidate before attacking on the challenging surface.
