The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has received the final, 900-page report from its Independent Inquiry Committee concerning integrity matters for the BPL 2024-25 (11th Edition) season.
The report, which addresses concerns related to corrupt practices and operational gaps, sets out a comprehensive roadmap for reform, including legislative proposals, institutional restructuring, and enhanced player protections.
The BCB thanked the committee but stated it will not disclose details or comment on specific allegations at this stage to protect ongoing or potential proceedings.
The Board affirmed its commitment to due process and will consider the recommendations while undertaking further inquiries in coordination with relevant authorities, including the ICC.
To bolster its efforts, the BCB has established the Bangladesh Cricket Board Integrity Unit (BCBIU), headed by an independent chairman.
