BNP and Jamaat Hold Rally in Morrelganj to Prevent Sabotage

Local leaders and activists of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Jubo Dal, and Jamaat-e-Islami held a joint protest march and rally in Morelganj, Bagerhat, at noon on Tuesday. The demonstration aimed to counter potential sabotage surrounding the founding anniversary of the Awami League and to demand accountability for the previous regime's actions.

After marching through key city roads, the protesters gathered for a brief street rally. Upazila Jubo Dal Member Secretary Rezaul Karim Sohag presided over the event.

Key speakers included Upazila BNP Senior Vice-President FM Shamim Ahsan, Municipal Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Rafiqul Islam, and Jubo Dal leader Ali Azim Babul. Several other local youth and Zia Manch leaders also addressed the crowd, jointly reiterating their demand for justice against fascism and their commitment to maintaining local security.
