


Considering the inconvenience to students, the National University has taken a preliminary decision to reduce the fees of various exams. An announcement in this regard will be made by November 15 after a meeting with the principals of various colleges and university policy makers.
Md. Mostafizur Rahman, acting director of the Public Relations Department of the National University, said that this decision was taken in an emergency meeting with the National University's registrar, examination controller, proctor and other department heads on October 29 in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor of the National University and students. Since many have registered online for the current exam, this decision will be effective from Honors Part-4, Pass Course Part-2 and other upcoming exams.
The principal of a college run by the National University said that currently the fee for each paper in the undergraduate (honors) course is 350 taka, for each exam in the in-course course it is 150 taka, for each paper in the undergraduate (pass) course it is 150 taka, for each exam in the in-course course it is 200 taka. In addition, a center fee of 600 taka is being collected from each examinee.
