


Naogaon District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Tariqul Islam has expressed his determination to make Atrai Police Station in Naogaon a safe haven for the common man. He gave these directions during a surprise visit to Atrai Police Station on Sunday (January 11) night.
During the inspection, the Superintendent of Police emphasized on ensuring good conduct with the service seekers coming to the police station. He clearly stated that the common man should not be harassed in any way to get police services. Directing to bring dynamism in service provision, he said that urgent services like cases, general diary (GD) and police clearance should be disposed of as soon as possible. Our main goal is that the common man should come to the police station and get the desired services and be satisfied with the police activities.
Ordering the speedy disposal of cases under investigation and strengthening the anti-drug campaign, the Superintendent of Police further said, There is no compromise in curbing crime. Security in the area must be ensured by strengthening warrants and effective patrols. Every police member must maintain professionalism and ensure public-friendly policing.
In view of the upcoming national elections, the Superintendent of Police urged everyone to be extremely vigilant to maintain the law and order situation. He instructed all concerned and said that to conduct a fair, free and impartial election, the police must complete the work assigned to them completely impartially and responsibly.
Regarding this surprise inspection and guidance of the Superintendent of Police, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Atrai Police Station, Md. Abdul Karim said, "We have taken the instructions of the Superintendent of Police very seriously. We are determined to make Atrai Police Station an ideal and service-oriented institution."
Officers and police members of all levels of Atrai Police Station were present during the inspection. Local conscious circles are hoping that this sudden visit and strict instructions from the SP will bring new momentum to the police station's activities and the law and order situation.
