Temperature Trends on Monday- 8.4°C, Sunday- 7.3°C, Saturday- 8.3°C, Friday- 6.8°C (Season’s lowest).
According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), temperatures between 8.1°C and 10°C are classified as a mild-to-moderate cold wave. Senior Observer Jitendranath Roy noted that humidity stood at 92% this morning with north-westerly winds blowing at 8-10 km/h, intensifying the "chill factor."
While dense fog continues to shroud roads and river basins until late morning, daytime temperatures have begun to rise slightly as the sun breaks through the mist.
However, the biting cold remains a significant challenge for low-income residents and day laborers, who are struggling to maintain regular working hours.
