Keeping in mind the slogan "Come and change the country, let's change the world", the Inter-College Football Tournament-2025 was inaugurated at the District Stadium ground by the District Administration and District Sports Office, Kurigram with the aim of building a new Bangladesh.

On the occasion of the celebration of the Youth Festival-2025, the Inter-College Football Tournament-2025 was inaugurated at the District Stadium ground by the District Administration and District Sports Office, Kurigram on Monday afternoon, December 8, at the District Stadium ground.

Deputy Commissioner (General) B.M. Qudrat-e-Khuda presided over the inaugural ceremony of the Inter-College Football Tournament-2025, with Deputy Commissioner Annapurna Debnath as the chief guest and Superintendent of Police Khandaker Fazle Rabbi, PPM, Civil Surgeon Dr. Swapan Kumar Biswas and Additional Superintendent of Police Masud Rana as special guests.

At the invitation of District Sports Officer Md. Alamgir Hossain, the inaugural ceremony of the Inter-College Football Tournament-2025 was attended by, among others - Kurigram Government College Principal Professor Mirza Nasir Uddin, Kurigram Collectorate School and College Principal Harun Or Rashid, District BNP Convener Mostafizur Rahman Mostafa, Joint Convener Hasibur Rahman Hasib, District Jamaat Leader Nizam Uddin Khan, Shah Jalal Sabuj, July Shaheed Family Member Abdul Aziz Nahid, Former General Secretary of District Sports Association Abu Bakar Siddique, Executive Director of Solidarity Harun Or Rashid, District Sports Association Executive Committee Member Azizul Islam, Inter-College Football Tournament Sub-Committee Member Rural Football Revolutionist Jalal Hossain Laiju, etc.

Chilmari Government College vs Kurigram Government College participated in the inaugural game. Mominul Islam Michael served as the main referee in the football game, Rakibul Islam Moon and Shahidul Islam as assistant referees, and Utpal Kanti as the fourth referee.
