


Prayer and Milad Mahfils were organized in various mosques across Chauddagram (Comilla) on Wednesday after Asr to pray for the physical health and speedy recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
The events were organized at the initiative of the Gunwati Union BNP family of Chauddagram. The programs received overall support from Alauddin Hossaini, former senior joint secretary of Aberdeen City BNP.
Prayers were held at six mosques, including: Gunwati Central Jame Mosque, Khatra Jame Mosque, Chapachou Madhyampara Jame Mosque, Kartam Jame Mosque, Phulernaori Jame Mosque, Khatra Purba Para Jame Mosque.
A number of political leaders and activists from the BNP, Juba Dal, Chhatra Dal, Krishak Dal, and Fishermen's Dal were present, alongside ordinary Muslims. Notables included former senior vice president of Chauddagram Upazila BNP, Mr. Ali Hossain Pandit, and former president of Gunwati Union BNP, Mr. Abdul Jalil, among many others.
The attendees offered prayers for the physical health and speedy recovery of the "uncompromising leader" Begum Khaleda Zia.
