In the North Shalgaria Sardarpara area of Pabna Municipality Sadar, locals have taken to the streets to demand justice for Hafsa and the apprehension of those responsible for her death.

The protest began on Monday morning, originating from North Shalgaria Sardarpara, where demonstrators held a brief rally outside the District Commissioner's Office.

Family members of the late Hafsa, along with villagers, addressed the crowd during the rally. Following this, they marched and obstructed the main thoroughfare, Abdul Hamid Road, to voice their outrage. After approximately an hour of the blockade, the protesters agreed to disperse after receiving assurances from the police that the suspects would be arrested within 24 hours.

Last Saturday night, Hafsa's body was discovered in a garden adjacent to her maternal grandmother's residence. The young girl, who was a second-grade student at a local kindergarten, resided with her grandfather Mallik Sardar in Sardarpara, North Shalgariya. In the wake of this tragic event, law enforcement apprehended two young men, Ramzan and Sabbir, in connection with the case.
