To support the Bangladesh government's energy-saving initiatives amid the global fuel crisis, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has advanced the match timings for its upcoming home series.

The schedule changes will affect the men's white-ball games against New Zealand and the women's T20I series against Sri Lanka. By starting matches earlier, the BCB aims to maximize natural daylight and avoid the prolonged use of stadium floodlights, saving an estimated four hours of electricity consumption per game.

Updated Schedule Adjustments: Men's ODIs (vs. New Zealand): Will start at 11:00 AM local time instead of the original day-night schedule, aiming to conclude by sunset at 6:30 PM.

Men's T20Is (vs. New Zealand): All matches will now begin at 2:00 PM, concluding by approximately 5:10 PM.

Women's T20Is (vs. Sri Lanka): The Sylhet fixtures will commence at 1:30 PM, shifted from their original 6:00 PM slots.
