BNP nomination aspirant and Kaliganj Upazila BNP convener Jahangir Alam affirmed his unwavering commitment to the party, declaring, “I have never betrayed the BNP I may have distanced from family, but never from my party.” His remarks came during a public rally held on Wednesday at RMPI High School field in Tushbhandar, organized to build public awareness around BNP's 31-point state reform agenda initiated by acting chairman Tareque Rahman.
Alam emphasized that despite numerous challenges and political pressure, he has remained loyal to BNP. He asserted that the 31-point reform plan is the only path forward to establish a truly people’s government, restore democracy, and overcome the institutional damage inflicted by authoritarian rule.
The rally, titled “Public Engagement and National Election”, was organized by Kaliganj Upazila BNP. It featured a procession that paraded through key roads of the upazila, drawing attention from the public.
The event was moderated by Upazila BNP joint convener Azad Babu, and attended by local leaders and supporters rallying around BNP’s reform movement ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election.
