


On Friday, following Jumma prayers, a special prayer mahfil took place at the Islamia Government College Jame Mosque ground in Sirajganj, dedicated to the healing of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, who is currently receiving treatment in the ICU at Evercare Hospital in the capital.
As part of a nationwide initiative by the BNP, prayer mahfils were held in mosques across the country after Jumma prayers, with thousands of devoted Muslims attending the event in Sirajganj, including numerous leaders and activists from the BNP and its affiliated organizations.
Prior to the prayer, Fateha Sharif and Darun Sharif were recited, led by Mufti Hafez Maulana Ruhul Amin, the Imam and Khatib of Islamia Government College Jame Mosque. The prayer was led by Md. Saidur Rahman Bachchu, a member of the BNP National Executive Committee and the District BNP General Secretary. Also in attendance were District BNP Vice President Gazi Azizur Rahman Dulal, Senior Joint General Secretary VP Shamim Khan, Joint General Secretary Rashedul Hasan Ranjan, Organizing Secretary Abu Said Sweet, District Krishak Dal Convener TM Shahadat Hossain Thandu, former General Secretary of Sadar Thana BNP Ad Naznul Islam, along with many leaders and activists from the BNP and its affiliates, as well as thousands of devoted Muslims.
