


Five ships carrying a total of 164,000 tons of refined fuel are expected to arrive at Chittagong Port this week. Three ships are coming from Malaysia, and one each from Singapore and China. All vessels have already departed for Bangladesh.
Of the total shipment, four ships are carrying 130,000 tons of diesel, while one ship is transporting 34,000 tons of jet fuel, according to Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) sources.
A BPC official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said four ships carrying about 138,000 tons of refined fuel have already reached the port. Fuel unloading (lightering) has begun from one vessel and will continue sequentially from the others.
The vessel MT Oaktree is expected to berth at the jetty on Saturday (April 18). After that, two ships will unload fuel at the jetty each day.
In addition, five more ships are scheduled to arrive between April 19 and April 21, bringing another 164,000 tons of fuel.
According to BPC MT Golden Horizon will arrive on April 19 with 33,000 tons of diesel from Malaysia, MT Pacific Indigo will arrive on April 20 with 33,000 tons of diesel, MT Hafnia Chitta is expected on April 21 with 31,000 tons of diesel, MT FPMC 30 will arrive from Singapore on April 21 carrying 33,000 tons of diesel, MT Jing Tong 799 will bring 34,000 tons of jet fuel from China, likely arriving between April 21 and 22
Global vessel tracking data shows these ships departed ports in Malaysia, Singapore, and China between April 14 and April 17 and are on schedule to reach Chittagong within the expected timeframe.
