


To promote nationalist culture and ideology in the district, the Zia Cultural Alliance has formed a new seven-member convening committee in Kurigram.
Educationist and journalist Assistant Professor Aniruddha Reza has been appointed as the convener, while prominent Bangladesh Betar musician Azad Ali will serve as the member secretary.
The central executive committee approved the formation through an official letter on June 22, 2026. The approval was jointly signed by Central President Rezabuddaula Chowdhury, Executive President SM Bipash Anwar, and Founder General Secretary Ali Ashraf Akhand.
The other members of the newly formed committee include theater personality Md. Taijul Islam Jugga (Joint Convener), alongside four executive members: Bangladesh Betar musician Md. Gulzar Hossain, educationist Principal Khandaker Md. Fakrul Islam, BTV and Betar musician Md. Golam Mostafa Bablu, and theater and dance artist Md. Airin Akhter.
Following the approval, the new committee held an introductory meeting at their temporary office on the night of June 23. Presiding over the session, Convener Aniruddha Reza urged the members to energize the organization's cultural activities and engage people from all walks of life with nationalist values.
