Vitamin 'A' Plus Campaign Planning Meeting Held in Porsha

A planning and awareness meeting for the upcoming National Vitamin 'A' Plus Campaign was held at the Porsha Upazila Health Complex auditorium on Wednesday afternoon.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Rakibul Islam presided over the session. During the meeting, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Kamal Uddin outlined the action plan, which is being implemented under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s National Nutrition Services.

Dr. Uddin announced that on June 28, Vitamin 'A' capsules will be administered to children simultaneously across 145 centers in the upazila. To ensure accurate dosing, infants aged 6 to 11 months will be fed blue capsules, while children aged 12 to 59 months will receive red capsules.

Local Health Department officials were also present to finalize preparations for a successful campaign.
