Family Card Data Collection Training Begins in Laxmipur

A two-day training program for field-level data collectors and supervisors began in Laxmipur Sadar Upazila to support the implementation of the government's ‘Family Card’ initiative.

Organized by the Upazila Administration and the Upazila Social Services Office, the session was inaugurated by Laxmipur Deputy Commissioner S.M. Mehedi Hasan. Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Kathoaipru Marma chaired the event, joined by District Social Services Deputy Director Swapan Kumar Haldar and Chandraganj UNO Nilufa Yasmin Nipa as special guests.

The program focuses on field-level data collection methodologies, information verification and techniques to ensure accuracy. Officials emphasized that proper field verification will build a reliable database, making the distribution of social benefits through Family Cards more efficient, organized and targeted for deserving households.
