


The Laxmipur Sadar Upazila administration distributed sports equipment to 20 local educational institutions during a community event on Sunday afternoon.
Held at the Upazila Hallroom, the initiative was part of a broader community welfare effort to support both youth development and local agriculture. Alongside the sports gear provided to schools. The Upazila Agriculture Office distributed vegetable seeds to 3,000 local farmers and tree saplings to 3,050 residents to promote afforestation and rural farming.
Abul Khair Bhuiyan, Member of Parliament for the Laxmipur-2 constituency attended the ceremony as the chief guest and officially handed over the materials to the beneficiaries.
The distribution program was chaired by Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Kathoypru Marma. Several local dignitaries and political leaders attended as special guests to support the initiative including Sadar Upazila Agriculture Officer Hasan Imam, alongside BNP leaders Abdul Karim Bhuiyan Mizan, Mahbubul Alam Khokon and Mohiuddin Patwari Bitu.
