


Haldia Government Multipurpose High School has been awarded the "Award of Excellence-2026" for its outstanding overall performance among secondary schools in Louhajang Upazila, Munshiganj.
The Louhajang Upazila Administration organized the award distribution ceremony on Tuesday, June 9, at the Upazila Parishad auditorium. Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Farzana Bobby Mitu presided over the event.
Following a comprehensive evaluation of all secondary educational institutions in the upazila, Haldia Government High School was selected for the top honor. Headmaster Md. Rafiqul Islam accepted the award on behalf of the school's students and faculty.
Speaking at the event, UNO Farzana Bobby Mitu emphasized the administration's commitment to academic development, stating that such recognition programs will continue in the future to encourage and expand quality education in the region.
Other notable attendees included Upazila Secondary Education Officer Monira Akhter, Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Hasan Udaulah, and Upazila Public Health Engineer Md. Kamrul Islam, alongside various local officials, teachers, and students.
