Bangladesh to Premiere Spider-Man: Brand New Day Ahead of Global Release

Marvel fans in Bangladesh will get an early look at one of the year's most anticipated superhero films. Spider-Man: Brand New Day will open in the country on July 30, one day before its wider international release on July 31.

According to Star Cineplex, the film will debut in Bangladesh ahead of most global markets, making local audiences among the first to watch the latest installment in the Spider-Man franchise.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the 38th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the fourth MCU Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland.

Returning cast members include:

• Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
• Zendaya as MJ
• Jacob Batalon
• Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk

The film also introduces Sadie Sink, whose role has not yet been revealed, and Iman Esfandi, who plays MJ's new boyfriend.

One of the biggest additions is Jon Bernthal, reprising his role as Frank Castle/The Punisher, bringing the popular antihero into Spider-Man's latest adventure.

The film is set four years after Spider-Man: No Way Home. Following Doctor Strange's spell that erased Peter Parker's identity from everyone's memory, Peter continues protecting New York while living in isolation.

As he faces loneliness, mounting personal struggles, and a mysterious new enemy, Peter must also confront unexpected changes to his superhuman abilities.

Marvel says the new film will explore a more mature and emotionally complex version of Peter Parker while balancing character development with large-scale action.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is also the first feature film produced entirely using ScreenX technology. The format expands scenes onto the side walls of compatible theaters, creating a 270-degree panoramic viewing experience designed to immerse audiences beyond the main screen.

The film has generated significant excitement worldwide. According to the distributor, its first trailer received more than 718 million views within its first 24 hours, while advance ticket sales have already begun in multiple markets.

With its early release, Bangladesh will be among the first countries where audiences can experience Marvel's newest Spider-Man adventure.
