The Bangladesh Coast Guard arrested four drug dealers with Yaba tablets in three separate operations in Bhola and Hatia.

South Zone Media Officer Lt. Md. Salman Bin Shawkat confirmed the arrests. Acting on tip-offs, Coast Guard Base Bhola conducted an operation near Elisha Pakar Mata under Bhola Sadar Police Station at 3:30 pm Tuesday with arresting two drug dealers with 41 Yaba tablets worth around Tk 20,500.

In a separate raid, Coast Guard Out Post Lalmohan arrested a drug dealer near Uttar Bazar under Lalmohan Police Station at 3 am Wednesday, seizing 46 Yaba tablets worth about Tk 23,000.

The same day at 4 am, Coast Guard Station Hatia conducted an operation near Seku Market under Hatia Police Station in Noakhali, arresting a drug dealer with 52 Yaba tablets worth roughly Tk 26,000, a Chinese axe and Tk 6,580 in cash.

All arrested individuals and seized items were handed over to the respective police stations for further legal action.
