Frustrated locals and service seekers formed a human chain outside the Pabna Regional Passport Office on Monday afternoon to demand the removal of two officials.

Protesters called for the immediate dismissal of Assistant Director Ahsan Uddin and Control Operator Imamul Hossain. Participants accused the duo of long-standing irregularities, public harassment, and unprofessional behavior.

According to the protesters, applicants are frequently forced to return to the office for unreasonable demands, even after submitting all required documents, resulting in severe public suffering.
