A free eye care campaign was organized by the Muktijoddha Md. Fajr Ali Foundation in Lata, Paikgachha, Khulna.

The campaign was inaugurated Sunday morning (April 26) via video call by Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Union Parishad Administrator, Fazle Rabbi. Khulna Divisional Chief Dr. Nazrul Islam attended as a distinguished guest.

The event was presided over by UP Secretary Javed Iqbal. Notable attendees included UP members Ferdous Dhali and Amina Begum, former UP members, and journalists Krishna Roy, Mofazzel Hawlader, and Bijoy Sarkar (children of the late freedom fighter).

Medical services were provided to over 100 patients from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Following the screening, 15 patients were selected for surgery and transported to the Reverend Abdul Wadud Memorial Hospital in Khulna, where their procedures will be performed entirely free of charge.
