


A mobile court in Paikgachha has sentenced five individuals, including four women, to various prison terms following their arrest for anti-social activities. The arrests took place on Tuesday afternoon, April 7, during a police raid at a residence in the Hospital Road area of the municipality.
Acting on a tip-off, Paikgachha police conducted a drive at the house of a local resident and detained the five suspects. Following the arrest, Executive Magistrate and Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Fazle Rabbi presided over a mobile court at the scene.
Sentencing Details One woman (Garikhali): 1-month imprisonment. One woman (Amadi Union) 7-day imprisonment. Two women (Kalaroa and Tala) 3-day imprisonment each. One man (Gopalpur) 10-day imprisonment.
The convicts have been sent to jail to serve their respective terms.
