Alokit Morelganj Hosts Teacher Reception and Eid Reunion

Social welfare platform "Alokit Morelganj" organized a teacher reception and Eid reunion program on Saturday at the Government Siraj Uddin Memorial College Teachers' Auditorium.

The event, hosted by the Alokit Morelganj SSC 1985–1987 batch, was presided over by the organization's president, Professor Zakir Hossain Riaz. Former college professors Talukder Mostafizur Rahman, Shah Alam Howlader, and A. Awal Howlader attended as the guests of honor.

During the meeting, speakers reviewed the various development milestones achieved by Alokit Morelganj since its founding in 2021, including its flagship teacher reception initiatives and community self-reliance projects. The guest speakers shared insights from their teaching careers and offered guidance for the organization's future humanitarian activities.

The organizers also expressed gratitude to key patrons—including Engineer Hemayet Hossain Rumi, Alhaj Md. Jahangir Hossain Anich, poet Md. Monirul Islam, Md. Shamim Hasan, and Md. Shahdat Hossain—for their support in making the reunion possible. The program concluded with a special prayer session.
