31 candidates file nomination papers for 4 seats in Bhola

31 candidates file nomination papers for 4 seats in Bhola

33 candidates have filed nomination papers for 4 seats in Bhola in the upcoming parliamentary elections. These include candidates from BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, Jatiya Party, BJP, Islami Andolan, Swatwarat, Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis, Ganadhikar Parishad (GOP), Islamic Front Bangladesh, LDP, Aam Janata Dal, Bangladesh Development Party and NPM.

Those who have filed their nomination papers for Bhola-1 (Bhola Sadar) constituency are BNP candidate Golam Nabi Alamgir, BJP candidate Andaliv Rahman Partha, Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md. Nazrul Islam, Islami Andolan Bangladesh candidate Md. Obaidur Rahman, National Party candidate Akbar Hossain, People's Rights Council (GOP) candidate Md. Ainur Rahman Jewel, National People's Party (NPP) candidate Md. Mizanur Rahman, Islamic Front Bangladesh candidate Md. Ashraf Ali, and independent candidate Md. Rafizul Hossain.

In Bhola-2 (Borhanuddin-Daulatkhan) constituency, BNP candidate Md. Hafiz Ibrahim, Jatiya Party candidate Advocate Md. Jahangir Alam Rintu, Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md. Fazlul Karim, Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis candidate Md. Abdus Salam, Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) candidate Md. Mokfar Uddin Chowdhury, Aam Janata Dal candidate Md. Alauddin and independent candidates Md. Zakir Hossain Khandaker, Mohibullah Khokon and Taslima Begum have filed their nomination papers.

From Bhola-3 (Lalmohan-Tajumuddin) constituency, BNP candidate Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, Jatiya Party candidate Md. Kamal Uddin, Islami Andon candidate Md. Mosleh Uddin, People's Rights Council (GOP) candidate Abu Tayyab, Bangladesh Development Party candidate Md. Nizamul Haque and independent candidate Md. Rahmat Ullah have filed their nomination papers.

From Bhola-4 (Charfashion-Monpura) constituency, BNP candidate Md. Nurul Islam Nayan, Jatiya Party candidate Md. Mizanur Rahman, Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md. Mustafa Kamal, Islami Andolan candidate Md. Mokarram Md. Kamal Uddin, Jatiya Democratic Movement (LDM) candidate Abul Kalam, Aam Janata Dal candidate Md. Jamal Uddin Rumi and independent candidate Md. Rafiqul Islam have filed their nomination papers.

Confirming this information on Tuesday morning, Deputy Commissioner and District Returning Officer Dr. Shamim Rahman said that 31 candidates have submitted their nomination papers for the 4 seats of Bhola. Among them, 9 candidates have submitted nomination papers for Bhola-1 constituency, 9 for Bhola-2 constituency, 6 for Bhola-3 constituency and 7 for Bhola-4 constituency.
