The Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) will distribute blankets to help the cold-stricken people, said Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain.

On Wednesday (December 24), Epic Holding Limited officially handed over 3,000 pieces of winter clothes to support this initiative at the Mayor's office room at Nagar Bhaban.

Welcoming such social initiatives, the Mayor said that such steps are highly commendable as they will ease the suffering of the poor and helpless people during the winter season. If wealthy and corporate institutions come forward, they can play a big role in improving the quality of life of the city residents.

Chattogram City Corporation Acting Chief Executive Officer Md. Ashraful Amin, Private Secretary Abhishek Das, Epic Group Managing Director Engineer S. M. Abu Sufian, Head of Brand and Communication Mohammad Salahuddin, Head of HR and Admin Nur Mohammad, AKM Salahuddin and other officials.
