Reiterating the dedication to execute the 31-point state framework, BNP central leader and former MP, the courageous freedom fighter Hasan Uddin Sarkar stated, "This battle to preserve democracy and reconstruct the state has transcended mere political demands; it has evolved into a struggle for the people's survival."
He made this remark while serving as the chief guest at a view-sharing meeting hosted by Ward No. 53 BNP and its affiliated organizations at the Ahsan Ullah Sarkar Islamic Foundation Auditorium in Tongi Baro Deora on Wednesday afternoon. The meeting was chaired by Gazipur Metropolitan BNP leader Haji Babar Ali and facilitated by Azizul Haque Raju Master, the former Publication Affairs Secretary of Metropolitan BNP.
In his address, Hasan Uddin Sarkar remarked, "The 31-point program is not merely a political initiative; it serves as a blueprint for reconstructing the state on democratic principles. Our objective is to restore the people's voting rights, guarantee judicial independence, provide security for citizens, and eradicate economic disparity. Although this journey is lengthy, the populace stands with us, as demonstrated by the fact that fascist oppression could not withstand the people's strength." He further emphasized, "The organization must be fortified at the grassroots level throughout the nation. We need to enhance our engagement with the populace in every locality, city, suburb, and ward. The solidarity of our workers and supporters is our most significant asset. We are undeterred by political retribution, fabricated cases, or assaults, as our dedication to the people's aspirations and democracy remains steadfast."
Abdur Rahim Khan Kala, the former office secretary of Gazipur Metropolitan BNP, addressed the meeting as a special guest. He stated, "Propaganda cannot prevail against those who hold a place in the hearts of the people. Hasan Uddin Sarkar is in good health. Aside from this, he does not suffer from any physical ailments. The misinformation being circulated about him is intentional."
