Gazipur Unidentified Body with Severe Injuries Recovered

Police recovered the body of an unidentified man, believed to be around 55 years old, in Kaliganj, Gazipur, on Tuesday morning.

Locals discovered the heavily injured body lying on the road near Bangabandhu Bazar in Tumulia Union and immediately notified the authorities. Upon receiving the information, Kaliganj police arrived at the scene to recover the body.

The deceased suffered severe injuries to the right side of his face, along with stab wounds to his neck. He was found wearing an olive-green T-shirt and white checked trousers.

Kaliganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Zakir Hossain stated that investigators suspect the man was murdered nearby before being dumped at the discovery site.

"Efforts are underway to identify the deceased and apprehend those involved," OC Hossain said, adding that a full investigation and legal proceedings have been initiated to uncover the motive behind the murder.
