


Nine Palestinians, including five members of the same family, were killed and dozens injured in simultaneous Israeli airstrikes targeting four residential apartments across Gaza City early Thursday, according to medical sources.
The strikes occurred as Israel continued military operations in Gaza despite a ceasefire that took effect on Oct. 10, 2025.
Medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital said the facility received nine bodies and dozens of wounded people. Some victims arrived severely burned, while others were reported dismembered.
According to eyewitnesses, an airstrike on an apartment in the Labad building on Intelligence Street in northwestern Gaza City killed five members of one family — a man, his wife and their three children. A young girl from the family survived with injuries and was taken to hospital.
In the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City, a man and his wife were killed when an airstrike hit an apartment in the Al-Israa 1 building. Several others were injured, including one person reported to be in critical condition.
Another Palestinian was killed and dozens injured after an airstrike struck a house belonging to the Mhanna family in Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City. Local sources said the attack sparked a large fire that spread to nearby homes in the densely populated area.
In the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, an airstrike hit an apartment in the Al-Ghoul building, killing one Palestinian and injuring several others. Witnesses said the strike also caused a fire.
Residents reported widespread destruction to the targeted buildings and surrounding areas. The overnight attacks triggered panic among local communities.
According to Palestinian figures, nearly 73,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 173,000 injured since the start of the Gaza war in October 2023, with women and children accounting for most casualties.
The Gaza Health Ministry said that since the ceasefire came into effect on Oct. 10, 2025, at least 936 Palestinians have been killed and 2,903 injured in continued attacks.
