Farida Begum the mother of Rupayan Group Chairman Liaquat Ali Khan Mukul, passed away Sunday (September 6) at the age of 74. Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un.
She fell ill suddenly at her residence due to old age and was rushed to Continental Hospital (formerly United Hospital) in Gulshan where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
Farida Begum is survived by four sons, a daughter-in-law and numerous relatives and well-wishers.
Her funeral prayer will be held at Gulshan Azad Mosque after Dhuhr prayers today followed by burial at Banani Graveyard.
Her death has brought deep grief to the Rupayan family. Leaders from various business and social organizations have expressed condolences also praying for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
