The Bangladesh Women’s team (Tigresses) is set to play their final match of the ICC Cricket World Cup against India tomorrow (Sunday) at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai. The match will begin at 3:30 PM (Bangladesh Time) and will be aired live on T Sports.

Bangladesh entered the tournament targeting at least two victories. They secured one with an easy win against Pakistan but then suffered a "surreal" seven-run loss to Sri Lanka, needing only 12 runs from the last two overs but collapsing to lose five wickets in 12 balls.

Although Bangladesh put up a good fight against most teams, a victory against India is essential to avoid finishing at the bottom of the eight-team table. The Tigresses face an uphill battle, having won only one of their previous eight encounters against India in this format.

The Indian Women’s team has already secured a spot in the semi-finals but is expected to treat the match seriously to maintain their morale heading into the knockout stage.
