Khulna-6 is now eye-catching as an alternative and a field of competition for voters

On the last day of filing nominations for the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election 2026, Khulna-6 (Paikgachha-Koira) constituency has become the center of electoral heat. Since morning, the parties have officially started the contest by directly submitting their nomination papers.

BNP nominee SM Monirul Hasan (Bappi) reached the Deputy Commissioner's office and submitted his nomination papers. Party leaders and workers were present with him, which further intensified the election heat.

On the same day, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami nominee Md. Abul Kalam Azad also submitted his nomination papers to the Deputy Commissioner's office. Party leaders and supporters were present and gave a strong message of standing by the candidate.

The Jatiya Party (JPA) entered the election field at the last minute and submitted its nomination papers at the upazila administration office. Md. Mostafa Kamal Jahangir announced his candidacy at the Paikgachha Upazila Administration Office. The enthusiasm and enthusiasm of the party leaders and activists gave a new dimension to the election fever.

On the other hand, the Bangladesh Communist Party (CPB) candidate Advocate Prashant Kumar Mandal submitted his nomination papers at the upazila administration office. Comrade Sheikh Abdul Hannan and other leaders of Paikgachha and Koyra Upazilas were present.

In addition, Hafez Maulana Asadullah Al Ghalib, nominated by the Islami Andolan Bangladesh (Charmonai), and independent candidate Md. Asadul Biswas also submitted their nomination papers at the District Commissioner's office. The candidates introduced themselves as candidates by directly meeting voters and leaders and activists, which increased expectations and excitement among the voters.

Analysts believe that the contest in Khulna-6 is creating alternatives for voters and intensifying the election fever. The party's activism, the presence of candidates and the interest of voters have further intensified the daily election picture.

BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, Jatiya Party, Communist Party and Islamic Movement have submitted their nominations as 6 candidates.

As a result, Khulna-6 is not just a battleground, it is also becoming known as a center of election fever, political surprises and public opinion testing. The active participation of voters, the preparation of candidates and the completion of the formal stages of the election will play an important role in determining the future of the constituency.
