Pabna Chatmohor Upazila BNP's former member secretary and former upazila chairman Hasadul Islam Hira said, we have heard today too that you are creating obstacles for our people. I am warning you, if you want to be polite, be polite. Otherwise, you will be given a befitting reply in the future. You have to keep one thing in mind, if we want, we can expel you from Chatmohor within an hour. Don't force us. If we want, we can expel you from Chatmohor within an hour without sheltering any outsider.

He said this at a brief rally after the torch procession organized on Thursday (November 27) night demanding the change of BNP's nominated candidate in Pabna-3 constituency to a local candidate.

Earlier, a huge torchlight procession from the Chatmohar bus stand area circled the main road of the municipal headquarters and ended at the Baluchar playground.

Former MP of Pabna-3 constituency and former president of Chatmohar Upazila BNP KM Anwarul Islam, former member secretary of Upazila BNP and former upazila chairman Hasadul Islam Hira, and general secretary of Chatmohar Municipal BNP Touhidul Islam Taijul addressed a brief rally there.

During his speech, Hasadul Islam Hira said to the BNP nominees, last Saturday you could not gather more than five or six thousand people despite bringing people from all over Bangladesh. You were supposed to hold a rally at Baluchar field but failed to do so. You went to the bus stand. Where the number of my torches was today, the number of your leaders and activists was the same that day. You have to remember that the people of Pabna-3 have cursed you, shown you a red card. So don't fly high in the sky, don't brag too much, because you are outsiders.

Hira said, I will tell the central leaders, I have said this before, I have said it many times. You should look at the field survey. Consider the position of the leaders and activists at the grassroots. Withdraw the external candidate from here and nominate the local son of Pabna. Otherwise, a tougher movement will be announced in the future. Don't force us, so that Chatmohor doesn't have to be separated from the whole of Bangladesh. In many places, the train route has been blocked, the highway has been blocked. We don't want to increase the suffering of the people by blocking the train route and the highway. If we want, we can block that train route with 20,000 to 50,000 people. If necessary, we will cook there, eat and drink there. We are carrying out our movement in an orderly and peaceful manner. Don't force us.

Hasadul Islam Hira also said, I hope that my beloved leader Mr. Tarique Rahman will not make the same mistake that the central leaders made, he cannot make it. I will request him to survey the Trinamool field again. Otherwise, I have said before that the outside candidate who has been given the nomination of Paddy Sheesh will lose to Jamaat in the next election. The central leaders will have to bear the responsibility for him. If he is not withdrawn, then we will be forced to stand in the election as an independent candidate.

Former MP K Manowarul Islam said at the road rally, what was I told by BNP? It was said that someone who is popular in the area, has good relations with the people, has public involvement, has acceptance. But is the person who has been nominated in Pabna-3 constituency popular in the area? Public involvement? No, there are many important people in Chatmohar Bhangura Faridpur. We want someone from our area to be nominated. If there is an important person or a leader in Chatmohar, he should be nominated. Today, the same thing is happening in Chatmohar Bhangura Faridpur. Everyone wants a local candidate. Therefore, we are repeatedly drawing the attention of the central leaders of BNP, asking our leader Tarique Rahman to nominate our local son for the sake of peace for all.
