None Will be Allowed to Play with People’s Fate: Prime Minister

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman urged democratic forces to unite against those seeking to create disorder or spread confusion and obstruct Bangladesh’s development also asserting that no one would be allowed to jeopardize the people's fate.

Addressing a rehabilitation program for flood victims at the Hathazari Government College ground on Sunday evening. Prime Minister highlighted the nation's prevailing challenges and criticized certain political factions for actively obstructing government initiatives.

“Now is the time to build the country and shape the nation's destiny. We must transform the 40 crore hands of our 20 crore people into a productive workforce to drive Bangladesh forward” the Prime Minister stated.

Calling for national unity, he urged citizens who believe in democracy and freedom of expression to resist those attempting to block roads and mislead the public.

“Let us take an oath to stand firmly against those jeopardizing our progress. Changing the fate of the people is our central mission—we will work to build the country, putting Bangladesh first” he added, citing the slogan: Korbo Kaj, Gorbo Desh, Sobar Agee Bangladesh.

Reaffirming his administration's commitment, Rahman emphasized that the public remains the ultimate source of political power. He pledged to implement the BNP's 31-point development goal also describing it as a people-centric roadmap designed to overcome existing obstacles and transform Bangladesh into a developed nation.

Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed also spoke at the event.
