


Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has instructed local party leaders to strengthen and reorganize the party's grassroots network across Chattogram.
He issued the directive during a divisional organizational meeting held at the Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View Hotel at 8:30 pm on Sunday marking the conclusion of his tour of the Cox’s Bazar and Chattogram districts.
The meeting, chaired by Chattogram Metropolitan BNP Convener and Member of Parliament Ershad Ullah, brought together key activists from the Chattogram Metropolitan, North and South district units, as well as various affiliated organizations. The Prime Minister outlined strategic guidelines to ensure discipline, unity and dynamic organizational activities ahead of future political challenges.
Earlier in the day, the Premier maintained a packed schedule balancing political, religious and civic engagements. Arriving in Fatikchhari by helicopter from Banshkhali on Sunday afternoon. He also met with Hefazat-e-Islam Emir Allama Shah Muhibbullah Babunagari at the Al-Jamiatul Islamia Azizul Uloom Babunagar Madrasa.
Following this, Rahman traveled to Hathazari around 5:30 pm to pay his respects at the grave of the late Hefazat Emir Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi.
Before his evening political meetings, the Prime Minister also attended a public welfare event at the Hathazari College Ground, where he distributed relief materials, financial aid and new homes to families severely impacted by recent regional floods.
