The local Jamaat-e-Islami inaugurated the election office and held a village rally in 36 Bogra-1 constituency in Sadar Union of Sariakandi Upazila of Bogra district.

On Wednesday (February 4) after Isha, the rally was held in Dighalkandi village of Sadar Union to run the election campaign of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's nominated candidate for 36 Bogra-1 (Sariakandi-Sonatala) constituency Principal Md. Shahabuddin. Mao. Gaziul Islam presided over the event, the chief guest was Bangladesh College Teachers' Council Bogra District Branch President Md. Abdul Wahab, and the special guest was Sadiqul Islam Swapan, former student leader of Sariakandi Upazila Branch and prominent banker.

The speech was moderated by Hazrat Ali, the president of the 7th ward committee of Jamaat's Sadar Union, and was addressed by former student leader Boni Amin. The organizing secretary of Sariakandi Sadar Union branch, Md. Mosharraf Hossain, the secretary of Baitul Maal affairs of Sadar Union branch, Md. Abdul Quader Jhinuk, and the president of Sadar Union 1st ward, Md. Ahsan Habib Sabuj.

The speakers said that there is no alternative to Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in governing the country to establish justice and fairness. Therefore, the general voters will vote in groups on the symbol of Jamaat (Sariakandi-Sonatala) and make Principal Md. Shahabuddin the winner of this seat. Among others present at the time were Rabiul Islam Ujjal, president of Sadar Union Youth Department, Abdur Rahim, Hanzala, Alo, Jamaat's workers and supporters from different levels and voters of the area.
