Shibsa Literary Center Committee Formed in Paikgachha

A new executive committee of the traditional Shibsa Literary Center and Social Welfare Organization in Paikgachha, Khulna, has been formed.

Former headmaster Suraiya Banu Dolly has been elected president, while former principal Ramendra Nath Sarkar has been appointed secretary of the 15-member committee.

Other committee members are Vice Presidents Freedom Fighter Sardar Mohammad Nazim Uddin and Head Teacher Anita Rani Mondal; Joint Secretary Lecturer Bazlur Rahman; Treasurer former teacher Jinnatunnesa Panna; Organizing Secretary teacher Rafiqul Islam; Office Secretary former councilor Asma Ahmed; Legal Affairs Secretary Advocate Rashna Sharmin Ankhi; Education and Sports Affairs Secretary Afra Nazlin; Publicity and Publication Affairs Secretary journalist Md. Abdul Aziz; and members Assistant Lawyer Panchanan Sarkar, Apprentice Lawyer Ilias Hossain, former bank officer Bikashendu Sarkar, and Lecturer Jibesh Chandra Roy.

The government-registered organization has long been involved in literary, cultural, and social welfare activities in the area.
