The International Anti-Corruption Day was celebrated in Pabna with the theme 'Youth Unity Against Corruption: Building the Purity of the Future'. On this occasion, the district administration and the Anti-Corruption Commission jointly organized the district office in Pabna on Tuesday (December 09) morning by hoisting the national and ACC flags and releasing balloons.

Then, a human chain was held on the road of the District Commissioner's office. After the human chain, a discussion meeting was held at the Shaheed Bir Muktijoddha ASI Abdul Jalil Auditorium of Police Lines. Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption Commission jointly organized the district office in Pabna, Shahidul Alam Sarkar, presided over the discussion meeting, and Deputy Commissioner Shahed Mustafa, Additional Superintendent of Police Rezinur Rahman, President of the District Corruption Prevention Committee Dr. Monowar ul Aziz, General Secretary ABM Fazlur Rahman and many others spoke at the meeting. The speakers in the meeting said that corruption is the main obstacle to the progress of society and the state. The new generation must come forward to build a corruption-free Bangladesh.

It is possible to establish a pure and transparent society in the future only through awareness and practicing ethics. A pleasant cultural program was held after the discussion meeting.
