Mirza Abbas faces gunfire at hospital after visiting Hadi

Mirza Abbas, the BNP candidate for the same constituency, was gunned down while visiting the injured Dhaka-8 independent candidate and Inquilab Manch spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

The incident occurred around 4 pm when Mirza Abbas went to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

At that time, the members of the Inquilab Manch and Hadi's supporters shouted slogans of 'fake fake' upon seeing the BNP standing committee member.

Later, members of the army provided security to Mirza Abbas and allowed him to enter the hospital. At this time, the leaders and activists of the Inquilab Manch continued to chant various slogans.

Earlier, Osman Hadi was shot at around 2:20 pm on Friday while he was riding a rickshaw on Bijoynagar Calvert Road in the capital. At that time, unknown miscreants came on a motorcycle, shot at him and fled.
