Sabiha Mostafa Rathi, 32, wife of Islami Bank senior officer Md Hafizur Rahman, has died of dengue while undergoing treatment at a private clinic in Khulna.
Rathi was a resident of Ward No. 6 of Paikgacha Municipality in Khulna.
According to family sources, she had been seriously ill with dengue for more than a week. As her condition deteriorated, she was admitted to Health Care, a private clinic in Khulna.
She died while undergoing treatment there at around 11am on Thursday.
Rathi is survived by her husband, two sons aged 13 and 7, as well as relatives and many people who knew her.
Her father is Golam Mostafa Lal and her mother is Rahima Begum.
Her death has cast a pall of grief over her family and the local community.
The family has sought prayers for the forgiveness and salvation of her departed soul and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
