‘Nalitabari Freedom Day’ celebrated in Nalitabari, Sherpur

On December 7, Senjuti Vidyanyakan organized the Freedom Day in Nalitabari with the slogan 'Come with the red and green flag'.

‘Nalitabari Freedom Day’ was celebrated in Nalitabari, Sherpur. On December 7, 1971, after two days of fighting in Nalitabari, freedom fighters and the public entered Nalitabari town and hoisted the Bangladesh flag and celebrated victory.

On December 7, Senjuti Vidyanyakan organized the Freedom Day in Nalitabari with the slogan 'Come with the red and green flag'.

Senjuti Vidyanyakan Principal Muniruzzaman hoisted the national flag at 9 am on the Ekushey Pathachakra organized on the premises of Senjuti Vidyanyakan.

Teachers and students performed the national anthem at this time. At 10 am, a joyous victory procession started from the premises of Senjuti Vidyanyakan and circled the main roads of the city.

At the end of the procession, under the chairmanship of teacher Moni Ganguly, and moderated by teacher Shankari Pathak, speeches were delivered by Principal Muniruzzaman, child students Shayon Sarkar, Maliha Jahan, Jhum Acharya, etc.
