A prayer mahfil was held in Porsha, Naogaon, for the good health and long life of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
The prayer mahfil was organized on Sunday at the Saraigachi intersection, Kalinagar Government Primary School ground by the initiative of Porsha-Niamatpur-Sapahar Upazila BNP and its affiliate organizations.
The chief guest of the prayer mahfil was former MP of Naogaon-1 constituency and President of Niamatpur Upazila BNP, freedom fighter Dr. Salek Chowdhury. The prayer mahfil program was conducted by Abdul Jabbar, General Secretary of Upazila Nitpur Union Jubo Dal. At that time, Sapahar Upazila BNP President Rafiqul Islam Benu Chowdhury, Niamatpur Upazila BNP Joint General Secretary Aminul Islam, Porsha Upazila BNP Former Vice President Taufiqur Rahman Shah Chowdhury, BNP Former General Secretary Lion Masud Rana and several thousand leaders and activists were present.
Later, prayers and supplications were offered for the recovery and good health of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. The supplication was conducted by Olamadal member Mao: Shariful Islam.
